Bruno-Panunzio_portraitBruno Panunzio is originally from the small Italian town of Lesina in the Puglia region of southern Italy.

He began his guitar studies with his father when he was 10 years old.

Bruno is a versatile musician with deep experience and knowledge in genres ranging from rock/pop, jazz, flamenco, and classical guitar.

His unique blend of styles gives him a distinctive and individual voice on the instrument.

Recipient of awards and scholarships including the Santa Barbara Musicians Union Award 2006, Santa Barbara’s La Fair/Rokoff/Gilbert Fund Scholarship 2007 and most recently the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Scholarship, where he attended 2014-2016.

His experience includes both solo and ensemble performances in Italy and throughout the US for over 20 years. Bruno has traveled extensively to the Spanish cities of Malaga and Sevilla, where he studied flamenco guitar with Mariano Campallo, Manuel Valencia, and Yago Santos.

He received his degrees in classical guitar from San Francisco State University B.M. and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music M.M., having studied under the direction of Lawrence Ferrara and world-renowned performer composer and pedagogue Sergio Assad.
