Bruno Panunzio
Bruno Panunzio is a versatile guitarist with experience in classical and flamenco guitar, as well as South American styles. He has performed as both a soloist and ensemble musician in Italy and throughout the United States.
His training includes masterclasses with Adam del Monte, Álvaro Pierri, and Meng Su among others. He has also traveled extensively to Spain, where he studied flamenco guitar with Manuel Valencia and Yago Santos. He has been featured as a performing artist with Chamber Music Silicon Valley as a member of the Emerging Artist Fellowship during their 2018–2019 concert series, and he is an active member of the South Bay Guitar Society in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he regularly presents technique workshops for their annual Guitar Festival.
As a recording artist, he has released two solo guitar albums,
Tarde Azul (2022) and Sincronismo (2024).
Alongside his performing career, Bruno is a dedicated teacher currently serving as Artist Faculty at the University of Southern Maine, where he teaches guitar and chamber music. He holds degrees in classical guitar from San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he studied with Lawrence Ferrara and Sergio Assad.
